DuPage County Pavement Maintenance South Region

SWE Solutions provided Construction Inspection services for DuPage County’s Pavement Maintenance Program – South Region. Project locations include:

• College Road / Wehrli Road – 75th St to Maple Avenue

• Maple Avenue – IL Route 53 to Belmont Road

• Summit Avenue / Midwest Road – I-88 to IL Route 38

This project is part of DuPage County’s yearly pavement maintenance program to maintain the existing infrastructure while at the same time implementing projects to improve safety and relieve congestion. Approximately 71 lane miles of County highways are to be patched and resurfaced to improve rideability and to extend the service life of the existing pavements. The project is constructed primarily using daily lane closures.

The project's scope of work includes the following items:

• Curb and sidewalk repairs

• Drainage repairs

• Pavement resurfacing

• New pavement markings
